Using Transfer Entropy to study avalanches in non-equilibrium systems with non-linear dynamics
Research Abstract
My research involves studying avalanches in complex systems with non-linear dynamics, specifically neuronal networks. I use techniques such as Transfer Entropy, originally derived from Shannon Entropy, to analyze and model the disorder and effective connectivity of both experimental and simulated neuron cultures.
